Volunteer Project Assistant positions:

All project assistant positions are located in Geneva and last for a minimum of 3 months.  There is no particular deadline, and applications can be submitted at any time.  To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter including your availability to recruitment@sheltercentre.org.

Successful applicants will undertake an ongoing series of Shelter Centre programme deliverables, in addition to contributing to activities and events, such as the twice yearly Shelter Meeting.

Experienced professionals with the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• strong communication skills, writing and editing skills
• proven ability to work flexibly in a small, innovative and dynamic team
• ability to work with staff and volunteers
• project management
• contract management
• information management
• technical expertise in transitional settlements and shelter, town planning, architecture and/or construction would be an asset
